Fitness Exercise Program

 

Fitness is best understood as "soundness," and we are attached to this definition, because being "sound" of body is a self realization. It is not something someone else can measure, and therefore the word and the meaning of the word fits perfectly into our entire concept. There is no one outside of you who will ever know how "soundness" feels for you. We do not have accurate enough worlds to communicate it. Blood pressure and breathing rates may give us a physiological insight, but the state of "euphoria" at the end of a real workout defies words, and the experience of being in "shape" is another self definition. What other people think when they see us might be important, might motivate us to change, might even affect and effect how they interact with us, but being "fit" uniquely belongs to each of us-exclusively.

That is why the possibilities of reaching that goal are greater when YOU are the creator of the program, when YOU are the implementer of the program; when YOU set the goals, and YOU evaluate the results. In the beginning of any program, you are dependent of the experience and teaching of a coach, but almost immediately the control of the program changes immediately, and in the case of personal fitness and soundness, You are the sole judge of progress. You modify the methods that lead to the goal.

The Fitness Exercise Program produces an awareness of how you feel and what your lifestyle contributes to the weight and health issues that you are facing. There is the reality that with weight there is a simple formula of "intake of food" and "outgo of energy" which translates in to weight gain and loss, and that exercise is a component of "outgo." Beyond its relationship to weight, exercise stands alone as a key element in how you feel, what we have already described as "fitness" and "soundness," and you will come to experience both as you continue through the program.

The program will be self-defined, in a gym or not; in the morning or afternoon or evening; in long sessions or short; running or walking; in large experiences like marathons or small things like not using elevators when it is possible, walking to places you would have driven, walking for pleasure instead of purposefully. You will do what works toward whatever goals you set, but experience teaches us that new and more ambitious goals will follow, and that at some point, exponential results will be in sight.

Most people who have been heavy and out-of-shape have forgotten what it feels like to be an energy reserve, to want to be out and around, to prefer exercising to sitting around.
